Loss of a Child in a First Responder Situation
Few events are as devastating as losing a child through illness, accident or a first responder experience. Jada has a specialization and focus on pediatric death and is well qualified to work with families as well as first responders who have experienced the loss of a child. She has received extensive training in the loss of a child situations for first responders.
At both Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, she has guided terminally ill children and their families through the difficult processes of dying and grief. Her compassion and expertise helps patients heal, grow and live through impending or sudden pediatric death.
While counseling cannot replace a child, it can offer another pathway to comfort and healing.
